Let’s move on to answering Tiction’s questions-

  1. You are granted three wishes, what would you ask for?

Hmm..this is a difficult one. So the first one would be that I live in a huuuuuuge library filled with the kind of books I like (I myself am not sure what kind of books I like, so counting on the library to know😉) and I spend most of my day reading (and a little blogging). Next I would wish for a pet, preferably a dog, preferably not-black, preferably a Labrador Retriever or a Golden Retriever (okay, I know that’s a lot of preferences, but I am specific 🤷‍♀️) Finally, I would wish that I get to write a full-length novel, and that it is published, and people all over the world read it. Ahh, the feeling when you see your name on the book cover…

2. What book would you love to be a character of?

Currently, my answer is definitely going to be The Keeper of Lost Cities. I would get to meet Sophie, Keefe, Dex, Linh(nah, not so enthusiastic about meeting Fitz after all that stuff about ‘matchmaking’) and of course I want to meet Wynn and Luna!

3.Who is your favourite author and what is it about their books that you adore?

As I said in one of my earlier posts, I simply cannot name a favourite author, in fact I won’t be able to name even top ten. There are SO many brilliant writers out there, and I cannot do injustice to them by naming others. And also, I am not really that person who reads a lot of books by the same author. I only do so if it is a series. But, in recent months, I loved KOTLC series by Shannon Messenger, several books by Agatha Chrisitie, The Book Thief by Markus Zusak, short stories by O’Henry, amongst many others.

4. If you could have a single super power, what would it be? Why?

I guess I would want the power to know, as soon as I pick up a book, whether it is going to be super interesting or not. I know it is pretty strange, and I am sure I would want a whole lot of other superpowers, but this is the only one I can think of right now 🤷‍♀️

5. What is the thing that would have been different than now had pandemic not been there?

Okay, be ready. If the pandemic had never happened….you wouldn’t be reading this blog right now. Seriously, I started blogging during this lockdown, because the urge to share my feelings on all the books I read grew stronger, until I just wanted to have an outlet where I could interact with like-minded people. And this was also the period I was introduced to all the amazing readathons that happen on Twitter and other places. Actually {don’t hate me please} I do think I am a tiny bit grateful to this situation. But yeah, now I just want everything to go back to the way it was.

  1. I love your answers, especially the library idea. Who wouldn’t want to live in a huge library?!

Thank you for the nomination, I’ll definitely be getting around to this one sooner or later, since I’ve really been slacking on doing this type of post lately. 💕

  2. Congratulations 🎊🎉 I would LOVE to live in a library too!!! I would definitely wish for a dog too! Though I really wish I had a dæmon…u know? Like the one in the his dark materials series. I have been meaning to read TKOALC for such a long time. I just hope it’s not too late to start. And by the way…high five! I started blogging during lockdown too!! Loved reading your answers 💞…. thank you soo much for tagging me. I will get to it ASAP 🥰

    1. Oh yes, a dæmon would be cool! And it is never too late to start a series (and such an awesome one too), and this would actually be the perfect time, because you won’t (hopefully) have to wait for the next books to come out (like me 😫).
ooh, we should form a band of ‘Lockdown Bloggers’ or something😄
Appreciate your dropping by, and looking forward to reading your answers!

  3. Thank you for the nomination!
That would certainly be a useful superpower for getting through tbr piles, could save a lot of time!
And labs are wonderful dogs to want – slightly biased because I had a black lab who was most definitely the best dog! 😀

    1. Ah, you certainly are so very lucky to have had a dog! I have wanted one all my life, but unfortunately my mother has a billion reasons why we can’t have one (most of them are valid, tbh) so I have to wait until I grow up to make this wish come true!
Welcome, and looking forward to your answers!

      1. Growing up my parents always put off getting a dog because they didn’t think they’d like having one but once they did get one they said they’d regretted putting it off for so long, always say getting a dog was one of the best decisions they made. I agree – that and all the cats – despite all my allergies I love my cats to bits!
