Character Chat #4

Welcome to another Character Chat post! This is a weekly tag in which I will be asking a character-related question here on my blog. All you have to do is answer the question, either in the comments or on your own blog. To know all the details, click here.

Today’s Question –

A side character who you think should have been the main character / A side character you would like to know more about?

Brianna from How To Pack For The End Of The World by Michelle Falkoff. I finished this novel five minutes ago from the time of writing this post, which is why it is all I can think of right now. Anyway, Brianna is the main character’s roommate, who is mentioned in the book, like, only 2-3 times. The first time I was introduced to her she seemed kind of stuck up, with that nose-in-the-air vibe, but later she turned out to be really kind and sensitive, and also described all the problems she had dealt with, which made me curious about her.

Your turn now! Go ahead and rack your brains for side-characters who weren’t given enough attention!

  1. Ahhhh you finished it!🥳 And tbh, if we go for htpfteotw, I’d def go with Kenneth Zhang, you know of my obsession with that guy even though he was mentioned just twice or thrice!😐😏

      1. Nate Macaulay from One Of Us Is Lying, he was the protagonist and a drug dealer on probation who didn’t stop drug dealing, and he is the best guy, I love him. WHO CANT?

      2. Ahaha, I didn’t go for Nate, cause he was also kind of the protagonist with Bronwyn, Cooper wasn’t really mentioned that much tbh.
and yeah, Ron was never given much importance, and he didn’t have a special trait to himself, like Hermione for brain, if I remember correctl.
